You know that logically. Your heart is hurting from the pain of the tearing away of that piece of you... But still, you did the right thing. Sending you loving kindness and peace. (20 years - the age my daughter turned just last week, born to me but for her I made my own painful and difficult choices which are still buried deep from all those years ago and so I reach out to you in your pain.)
